Red Lotus is an emergent body of work putting importance on the value of cyclicity and menstrual health. By being conscious of the natural order of cycles, a woman's well-being and the health of the communities around her is positively impacted.

Red Lotus weaves together two New Zealand founded inner work approaches: Clean Language and Menstruality. It also builds on the future of feminine spirituality and leadership work being pioneered by Red School.

 

The name Red Lotus was inspired by an academic paper on health promotion which highlights it as a metaphor for actioning the values and principles of salutogenic wellness - the factors supporting health.

Red Lotus also draws upon other practices such as the Enneagram and Buddhism to express its diverse approach to personal growth, captured in the artwork 'Flowers Blossoming'.
